Trigger Mike Posted March 10, 2012 Posted March 10, 2012 I bought a sig laser/flashlight to mount on my Sig 220, I tightened it good and fired, after several rounds it flew off. I remounted and double checked it. After a few more rounds tightened it again, after a few more rounds it flew off and now is broken and can't be mounted. Do all brands hace this problem? When I mounted it I verified it was on tight and did not move.
pfouts Posted March 10, 2012 Posted March 10, 2012 I have a stream light and it has never come off my glock. Not used a sig version.
Flashpowder Hal Posted March 10, 2012 Posted March 10, 2012 I have a Surefire X200 on my Sig, Never a problem with it. You mention "tighten" a few times, Could you have accidentally stripped the screws?
Gunner Gatlin, SASS 10274L Posted March 10, 2012 Posted March 10, 2012 Try some BLUE Loc-Tite (provided that the threads are OK) GG ~
Trigger Mike Posted March 11, 2012 Author Posted March 11, 2012 Try some BLUE Loc-Tite (provided that the threads are OK) GG ~ one side that fits in the groove of the place it mounts has broken off, super glue might do the trick though, thanks. Had not thought of that.
The Original Lumpy Gritz Posted March 11, 2012 Posted March 11, 2012 Glue will NOT hold! Get it replaced........ Think........SUREFIRE LG
Trigger Mike Posted March 11, 2012 Author Posted March 11, 2012 Glue will NOT hold! Get it replaced........ Think........SUREFIRE LG wonder if Sig will consider it under their warranty. I will look at surefire. I need another one anyway as I just got a Sig 1911 with a rail as well. MAN is she SMOOTH, I took her to the range today. Loved it.
