Based on the small-frame 5-shot Police Pocket Pistol. This gun is a true "hide-out" gun that easily would fit into a gentleman's coat pocket. Serial #1045xx .36 caliber (.375 round ball) 2.5 inch 1861-type barrel Aged to look like an old gun. Entire gun has a nice patina. Wood stocks look old & dry, slightly shrinking from the frame Half-fluted cylinder. Locks up tight & indexes correctly. Bore & cylinder charge holes are in good shape, not perfect, but equal to the aged look of the gun. Stiff hammer spring. Interesting little guns. I understand that Sam Colt sold more pocket pistols then any other model. Then there were those who wanted more punch than a pocket gave them. That's the thing about this game -- many interesting guns. Decided to cut back some..... Only keeping the 44s now, as I pretty much gave up shooting 36 cap guns.
