FS: gunsmith-made CVA brass-frame .36 caliber "snubbie" Revolver

Recommended Posts

Hi Folks:

For Sale:

A gunsmith-made CVA brass-frame .36 caliber "snubbie" Revolver.

Manufactured in Italy.

Based on the small-frame 5-shot Police Pocket Pistol.

This gun is a true "hide-out" gun that easily would fit into a gentleman's coat pocket.

Serial #1045xx

.36 caliber (.375 round ball)

2.5 inch 1861-type barrel

Aged to look like an old gun.

Entire gun has a nice patina.

Wood stocks look old & dry, slightly shrinking from the frame

Half-fluted cylinder.

Locks up tight & indexes correctly.

Bore & cylinder charge holes are in good shape, not perfect, but equal to the aged look of the gun.

Stiff hammer spring.

Pics: Snubbie

Shipped to your door for $230, unless you live in a restricted state.

Email with any questions.

Thanks for looking.

Yup, I was collecting them for quite a few years.

They are out there if you look hard for them.

Interesting little guns.

I understand that Sam Colt sold more pocket pistols then any other model.

Then there were those who wanted more punch than a pocket gave them.

That's the thing about this game -- many interesting guns.

Decided to cut back some.....

Only keeping the 44s now, as I pretty much gave up shooting 36 cap guns.

Still have a bunch tho.
