Come On Christmas Posted October 16, 2011 Posted October 16, 2011 Inquiring minds want to know. Shameless
Hacker, SASS #55963 Posted October 16, 2011 Posted October 16, 2011 Navy Arms is an importer not a manufacturer! Uberti makes their rifles. Cannot speak to other firearms but I have a Navy Arms 1873 and it says Uberti. In a thread that happened a few weeks back, I recall someone stating that Navy Arms was now a importer distributor and was apparantly not selling to individuals. I don't know for a fact. I heard it on the SASS Wire.
Horace Patootie, SASS #35798 Posted October 16, 2011 Posted October 16, 2011 It depends on the gun. I have a Navy Arms Rolling Block that was made by Pedersoli. I used to have a Navy Arms 1892 lever gun that was a Rossi made gun. It just depends on the gun. Horace
Come On Christmas Posted October 16, 2011 Author Posted October 16, 2011 Well at the worst I paid for an 1892 a little cheaper than brand new, but without a safety. If it is a Uberti I done good. Gunbroker Shamelessness
Lone Dog, SASS #20401 Posted October 16, 2011 Posted October 16, 2011 It ain't. Uberti has never made a 92.

Gunbroker Shamelessness Their 92's were made by Rossi. Probably the best of the Rossi's too. They were the only ones that came with walnut stocks. It is my understanding the wood was Missouri grown black walnut sent to Brazil to be made into Rossi stocks.
