Pulp, SASS#28319
A friend came over today to help me move into our new old house. He brought some stuff his aunt had and wanted to sell. A .410 Lee Loader, a bag of shot, wads and primers for the .410, and this: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v504/BlackPowderPulp/IMG_0309.jpg Uberti Remington .36 caliber Navy. New in box. Serial number XX7, imported by Lyman. It's been handled, as there are some slight drag marks on the cylinder, but never shot as far as I can tell. That's soon to be remedied. I told him the Lee Loader was worth minimum $50.00, they're going for more on eBay, the shot worth $30.00 and the gun at least $200.00, probably more. Then I told him what I could afford to give, he called his aunt and she said sell it. So I bought it. I should feel guilty, but at least I didn't lie about it. She wanted someone to have it that would use it. So now I've got a Remington to go with all my Colts. Replicas of course. I'll sure be glad when this dang remodeling and moving is over, I'm ready to end my dry spell. I haven't been to a shoot since January.
