i use a 240grain round nose lee mould for my 44spls(.429 dia) for pistols.also cast very nice 240g swc for my 44 maggies, lee moulds, nice big lube grooves, the 44-40 rifle gets a 200grain rnfp and shoots like a champ until i find a heavier bullet mould i like. lee makes nice, inexpensive stuff and they work for a long time if taken care of

That Lyman bullet looks great, but it has a bevel base and in a lyman lube sizer or RCBS the lube will build up on the bevel base and make a mess. Gary

I'll second the vote on Dick Dastardly's Mav Dutchman, 200 gr. Big Lube mold. They work well with BP or smokeless lube.

My $.02.
