No hookups at the range. Have to be dry or run a generator. I am still up in the air which I am going to do. Stay on the range with that stupid gen, or go down the road to the RV camp grounds. Sure hate generators. But like staying on the range. So still not sure which we are doing yet.
Billy Boots, # 20282 LTG-Regulator Posted March 9, 2011 Posted March 9, 2011 Got my confirmation and reservation at Lady Bird RV park out by fair grounds.
Anvil Al #59168 Posted March 9, 2011 Posted March 9, 2011 OK. After thinking about it. Loading and unloading, hauling that stupid genarator, then gas for it. Takes alot of the fun out of it. Just called and got an spot at the Lady Bird also. If Billy stays there. It sould be alright. Wife should be much more happy that way. A lot less work for me. Hope ya make it Kid Ziggy.

Dusty Chambers Sass 4408L Posted March 10, 2011 Posted March 10, 2011 Comfort is 8 miles from the ranch and Fredericksburg is 12 plus any distance around town. Lady Bird may be about 15. The banquet is in Fredericksburg at the south edge of town on the same hwy as the range. There is plenty of dry camping available at the range with some shade. Looking forward to seeing everyone...
Lone Dog, SASS #20401 Posted March 10, 2011 Posted March 10, 2011 Made it the past two years but cain't make this'n. Dashnabbit. If'n y'all make it to Comfort don'tcha dare miss eating at Guenther's. Best schnitzel I laid a lip around since I left Germany in '71. Also the schnitzel at the Auslander in F'burg is scrumptious-o too.
Kid Ziggy SASS 76870 Posted March 11, 2011 Author Posted March 11, 2011 Thanks all! You can count on us being there for sure, it is one of my favorite matches! I guess we will opt for the dry camping at the range but sure am looking forward to seeing all of our TX pards and making some new ones.
