Loophole LaRue, SASS #51438 Posted February 2, 2011 Posted February 2, 2011 One of the young ladies in my office was circulating her daughter's Girl Scout cookie order form. Now, I don't eat cookies anymore, but was pleasantly surprised to see an additional column on the form, allowing you to send cookies to troops deployed overseas. That's where my thin mints are headed. You might try the same. LL
Badger Mountain Charlie SASS #43172 Posted February 3, 2011 Posted February 3, 2011 Yeah, we do that every year. I manage to get one or two boxes for myself also.
Complicated Lady Posted February 3, 2011 Posted February 3, 2011 I was a Girl Scout. Sold cookies back when they were $1.50 Then I was the "Cookie Mom" for my daughters' troop. Now I buy them from my students. Thin Mints right out of the freezer... the best I wish I would have known about sending them to the guys and gals over seas. That's a great idea... a little bit of home for them
Cope Daniels Posted February 3, 2011 Posted February 3, 2011 My wife asked me the other day if I have seen anyone selling the cookies yet. I guess she is getting a sweet tooth LOL
Hardpan Curmudgeon SASS #8967 Posted February 3, 2011 Posted February 3, 2011 It's a good thing...! And keep in mind, you can do the same thing this fall when the Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts sell "Trail's End Popcorn."
Calgary Kate, SASS #33287 Posted February 3, 2011 Posted February 3, 2011 Ordered 5 boxes for Operation Thin Mint from my niece tonight!
