Contender 21” rifle barrel in 45-70. Very good condition with only some light scuffs in topical mounting area. The exterior and bore are in excellent condition. Asking $450 plus shipping.

This is a USGI WW II/Korean war era M1 US military carbine stock. It’s an early type III style and comes with metal butt plate, recoil plate and forend retainer. The only markings on the stock are the double set of arsenal refurbishing stamps. The butt plate is marked Standard Products. Overall good condition with minor dings and dents, no cracks, original oil finish. $185 plus shipping.

Loaded a lot of Federal primers on my Lee 1000 with no problems. Just have to develope a good feel for seating the primers without applying too much force.

I need to decrease the LOP of my 97 by 3/4" and add a recoil pad. I'm not much into woodworking but after watching some online videos, I think I might be able to do this job. Grinding the pad to fit I can manage. Cutting the stock is the real question. The end of the stock is curved where the butt plate is attached and I can't figure how to measure and mark the new cut line which would make the end of the stock straight. Any suggesting other than sending it out to a shop that does this? Thanks in advance Snake-eye
