If REAL science were to be followed it would be noted that: Few things are more chemically benign and inert than a spent lead bullet. There is little danger to the environment from a lead bullet laying on the ground. Where the hell do they think the stuff comes from in the first place?! Any danger from lead pollution would be from vapors generated from cartridge ignition, which rapidly disipate.
