Abilene, SASS # 27489 Posted February 25, 2024 Posted February 25, 2024 Some might find that price high, but it's not! Trail Boss has just always been expensive per pound compared to other powders. The standard bottle of powder is only 9 oz, but used to cost about the same as other 1 lb bottles. A 5 lb jug has almost nine 9-oz. bottles worth of powder in it. The last time I bought a 9 oz bottle, over 5 years ago, it was $29. Rattler's price per ounce is only a little higher than that. Many of our favorite powders have gone up a lot more. So I'm just a little surprised that nobody has jumped on it yet. Good luck!
