sarcasmn
I have recently acquired a nice IAC ‘97 with an 08 serial number. On the top of the barrel it states “12GA 20 5/16” 2 3/4”. I get 12 gauge 20 inch barrel and 2 3/4 inch shells. What does the 5/16” mean? Am curious mostly. Edited February 3 by sarcasmn Add
PaleWolf Brunelle, #2495L
Probably the actual barrel length. Measure it to confirm.

Widder, SASS #59054
Sarcasmn, The 08 series IAC models have a good reputation. They can be good SG's and pretty reliable. ..........Widder
sarcasmn
Yeah Widder and this one is supposed to have been set up by jimmy spurs. It’s nice and smooth so I think I got a good one. Now I just need to practice what you teach in your videos Edited February 4 by sarcasmn Add
Widder, SASS #59054
If Jimmy Spurs has put his magic touch on it, you indeed have a nice 97. There are also other good videos out there on YouTube. Check out those by Deuce, Santa Fe River Stan, The Outlaw Travis James..... and of course, the world record holder in the 97, Gut C Gunman. Whew, that kid is fast. Best wishes. Hope to see you on the firing line some day. ..........Widder Edited February 6 by Widder, SASS #59054
