That Chicago Cutlery is from the good old days.  Have one and just a few strokes of the steel will keep it very sharp.

We were given a Chicago Cutlery wood block with a nice set of knives, that all went dull with usage.

I have a nice electric sharpener, but it can be a hassle to set up and all, so the knives never got sharpened.

I thought, I've seen guys on tv using a steel rod for sharpening, and one came with the set of knives, so I tried it.

After a bit of practice, my knives are braggingly sharp!  :D

I have a steel rod I will toss in for anyone who makes an offer.
