Smuteye John SASS#24774
I think I'll stick with the Mexican mortars instead.
Trailrider #896
I used to work on loooongrange mortars. I just pointed them where I was ordered. Thankfully, they have not so far ever been fired at a target other than at a lagoon out in the Pacific. Hope they never have to be fired! The ones I worked on had a range of about 5,500 miles. Ones nowadays somewhat more. If the Ukrainians hadn't gotten rid of theirs after the fall of the Soviet Union, I don't think Putin would be so anxious to "liberate" portions of that country. BTW, one of the Ukrainian SS-9's, sans warhead is in the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum in Washington! Looks rather similar to a Titan II.
