J. Frank Norfleet Posted January 29, 2021 Posted January 29, 2021 The wheel weights I get from my local tire shop have a mixture of pure lead stick on wheel weights. When I separate out the zinc and steel wheel weights I also separate out the stick ons and melt them separate. That way I don't dilute the Pb alloy wheel weights. JFN

Marshall Mike Posted January 31, 2021 Posted January 31, 2021 I buy lead, 20/1 from ZIP Metals. Soft, not hard cast, obturates better. Don't have to figure the hardness of mixed lead products, clean, delivered BY UPS
