Bigfoot Miller
Well pards I pulled the trigger while at the gun shop today! I ordered a Cimarron 1889 12 ga with 22” barrels, should have it sometime next week. Does anyone know how to slick up this particular shotgun? Can it even be slicked up at all ? Thanks
Warden Callaway
I'll be first to make a suggestion. Round up a flat of shells and shoot them out before you decide to do anything else. 1) Sometimes just shooting it will make it run better. Maybe even good enough. 2) If a problem comes up, you have a chance to return it for warranty repair or replacement. If it shows any signs of being "slicked up", you're likely screwed. Blast Masterson
Flute the barrels and leave it alone. The timing of that gun is criticle. Channge one thing and three other things change. Shoot the crap out of it and polish the wear marks off. Love mine, but it can get finicky as it wears.
