Mec 650 to Dillon 900

Recommended Posts

I have been using the mec for years. Bought a Dillon 650 for pistol ammo. Started thinking about a Dillon 900 for shotgun. Does anybody have pros or cons about the Dillon? All input is appreciated

Once adjusted mine works extremly well  I have mine about 10 years and load win aa hulls both smokeless and app only changing powder measures

It is like Ford or Chevy or Dodge

people like one  and hate the others

I have a Mec 650 press since the 1960 s.  Always gave me problems but was ok for a few rounds but when trying to load for 3 or 4 shooters was to slow.  I hope this helps   Yes I would buy again. We have 2. 650's . 2 square deals   1 rock chucker and a Dillon 900

I have a 900. It was made by better(smarter) men than me. And it will crank out some rounds. The primer feed can be a little iffey, when its right it is amazing to watch all that stuff happening at once. I got mine from my dad when he had to quit shooting. So I had to change stuff, that contributed to initial primer problems. MY lack of knowledge. I have 4 dillons, no regrets.
