Dead Eye Raith Posted February 24, 2018 Posted February 24, 2018 I stumbled upon one for stupid cheap. I was wondering if anyone shot one and what they have done to them. It’s the single trigger with barrel selector and ejectors. I know I need to deactivate that, but not really sure how. Thanks for the advice in advance!
Wink drisky Posted February 24, 2018 Posted February 24, 2018 Stumpman shoots one, he has done very well with his, I bought one on sale at academy and really like it also. But my experience is very limited! Polished all working components, trimmed down the main hammer springs , and trimmed down the break open springs. They are very simple guns once u get them opened up!
Randy Saint Eagle, SASS # 64903 Posted February 24, 2018 Posted February 24, 2018 Papa Dave has been slicking them up for several cowboys in this area. He says they are well made. Randy
John Boy Posted February 25, 2018 Posted February 25, 2018 Here's what the Yildiz looks like when you open it up - Good Luck because it is not a kitchen table project ...
Dead Eye Raith Posted February 25, 2018 Author Posted February 25, 2018 I normally can figure out what is going on in there, but I can’t find anything that explains how. There is no YouTube or anything. Any help would be great.
Dead Eye Raith Posted March 2, 2018 Author Posted March 2, 2018 I was able to email the manufacturer and they sent a print to me. Hope this helps someone.
Randy Saint Eagle, SASS # 64903 Posted March 2, 2018 Posted March 2, 2018 It looks like you could just remove #44 Ejector spring guides and the ejector springs. I'd start there and see. Randy
Dead Eye Raith Posted March 2, 2018 Author Posted March 2, 2018 Actually, I figured out that if you remove 57&58, the right and left ejectors will push the shell out, but not eject! It works great! Then I trimmed down the hammer springs by 2coils and it is much easier to open. I am now working on sanding down the chambers to allow easy shucking. Almost finished. All in all, not a horrible experience.

Rio Brazos Kid Posted March 3, 2018 Posted March 3, 2018 The guns are pretty dependable. Only thing is you cannot buy parts for them. Briley Manufacturing is the Official Warranty Service Station for Yildiz, and they will not sell you any parts . They will repair them, if you send the gun to them, including any needed parts. However they won't sell you any parts. RBK
