Trigger Mike
I got an email that Ruger is making a bolt action in 7.62x39. I've hunted with a SKS in that caliber but never got anything. once scoped how flat a trajectory does that round have and how far out is its maximum effective range? Dakota Rebel, SASS# 58412
The ballistics are close to a 30-30. Lighter bullet a little faster.

Not many scopes have the elevation travel, to track past 500yds even with a 20 moa base. You would be better served with a .308 Win in a bolt gun.
