Neuse Rivers
I was wondering is there's a website out there, or video, or some such that takes you through tuning and tweaking the Remington '58. Found good stuff on the Colt 1851 and 1844, but nothing on the '58. Suggestions? Thanks, NR

Jabez Cowboy,SASS # 50129
If it's a Pietta throw it in the Lake ,,,,,, If it's a Uberti get yourself a piece of Glass 1/2 thick one foot square and some Emory Cloth sheets in 400, 600, 800 grit... And polish any burrs of parts keeping parts flat and even ... I also have a piece of glass 3/4 x 3/4 by 12 inches and ceramic rods of 1/4 , 3/8 ,1/2 and 5/8 inch by one foot long ... The glass is wrapped with Emory cloth and used to polish and the ceramic rods are used as is to polish parts ... When I am done with the 800 grit I coat it with "Fritz" metal polish to finish things up... The object is not to remove a lot of metal but to make thing really smooth ... If you don't understand what I'm saying or you don't understand how the gun in question is meant to Work, send to a Smith ,,,,,, We got to eat too ...
