Purdy Gear rig...ALL SOLD

Well if you know about Purdy Gear Leather nothing else needs to be said about comfort and quality. The bottom line is this was set up for 4 ¾ in Colt clone guns and I don’t have any and likely never will. My 5.5 in Rugers are not 100% in them and so they have hung for years in the gun room. Near $1000 in the whole set up. I would like to sell the shotgun belt and holster set up together. Don’t let the picture fool you. The picture looks better as they show their age in real life. But with some cleaning and some Silver polishing they could be stunning. You can tell they have darkened some from use. I paid $600+ for the 2 many years ago. Looped for 44/45. When new they were on display on Ms. Van Horne’s website. They are an adaption of an Olson style holster. I wear 36x36 slim cut Wranglers and there are seven holes. I wear the shotgun belt tightened all the way and the Holsters on the 5th hole so there is considerable room to go. If your interested I'll get you a measurement. With it's soft leather and wide belt it is by far the most comfortable rig I have.

$210 shipped for both-----SOLD

Add the 7in tie downs made for my Ruger Old Armies- not for short people or short armed people…I’m 6’ 3” and they tie above the knee… with my long arms I needed that just to get the cannons out of the holster…Cost me $150

$65 shipped----SOLD

The shoulder holster is for a righty and set up for the Cimarron Lightning. I’m a 44reg in a Sport coat so I think if your 46reg and smaller it will be real comfortable. This is lot safer than a Huckleberry rig and unseen under a jacket. I’ve shot with it and one holster for special stages. I remember $250 plus.

$135 shipped....Sold

The knife sheath is custom fit to the knife so they kind of go together. The knife is an A.G. Russel custom Cowboy Bowie and unlike the big Bowie’s it is more historically correct. It is not Stainless but Cold steel from back in the day so it requires care. The idea behind it is a period correct field knife for a horseman. It doesn’t break your hip when you fall off the horse and it is usable around the camp. Sheath was not a lot but knife is cool with its stag handles. Given its condition I would say $125 shipped is fair.----Sold

Hi Dash

I am interested in the Ruger Old Army holsters.

Is there a belt loop on the back of the holsters?

What are the rectangular leather pieces with the star above the holsters for?

Ironfoot

Dash,

I'll take the holsters for the ROA, if I am not bumping Ironfoot.

Send PM with payment info.

Thanks,

Dash,

Would the shoulder holster fit a sheriff model Ruger, or is it snug on a Lightning?

Thanks, Doc
