Shotgun Hipshooting Practice

[Come On Christmas]

Being a city boy, they ain't but one public range close that has reactionary targets. I dunno if they be letting ya chute em with shotguns.

 

I bought a brace of Crosman Pellet revolvers to practice gunfighter shooting targets on election signs (democrats mostly).

 

This got me thinking . . . Attatch a lazer pointer on a Red Ryder BB gun. Then do the same thing with my 1886 lever gun using snap cap shotgun shells.

 

Videos of folks hip shooting an 1887?

My technique as used regularly & taught to others (especially folks with shoulder/recoil issues):

 

Point muzzle @ target & pull trigger.

 

Pretty basic...here's one of my best "students" using my original '87 12ga:
