Abilene Slim SASS 81783 Posted November 25, 2013 Posted November 25, 2013 I use a revolver stand (cylinder stays in the gun). To me, extra cylinders are just more stuff to clean after the match. And don't forget to add the cost of nipples for those extra cylinders! You'll feel pretty clumsy the first times you reload, but after awhile you'll find it doesn't take long to do so. Watching J-Bar and Fingers McGee reload convinced me I didn't need the extra equipment. These guys are as smooth and efficient as it comes. My opinion only. YMMV!
Loophole LaRue, SASS #51438 Posted November 26, 2013 Author Posted November 26, 2013 Aye! Notice came this morning that the pistols have shipped! Delivery expected Friday; with the bit of a blow coming in tonight, maybe next week! I haven't been so excited since I asked for a red wagon at Christmas! LL
Chickasaw Bill SASS #70001 Posted November 27, 2013 Posted November 27, 2013 LL I cheat , when it comes to cleaning , I break em down , then spray em with Simple Green , hit em with a brush , as needed rinse in Hot water , dry with a hair dryer , lube em up with Ballastal while hot , wipe em down ready to put away , until next use CB
