Sage Creek Gus SASS #64320
I don't know if this was posted on this forum but it is on the saloon, Stan Lynde passed away last Tuesday. We handled his work in our art gallery in Bigfork, MT. Stan was a real gentleman and a pleasure to work with. The whole nation, but especially those of us in Montana will miss him greatly. Harvey Mushman
Another one from my childhood gone. Loved his cartoons as I was growing up, another reinforcement of western values and humor in the face of the adversity of a tough life in those times. God Speed Stan! Kidd Krystin
I started reading "Rick O'Shay" fifty-six years ago when I was fourteen. Stan Lynde was the only comic strip artist I saw who, when he drew a gun, you knew what make, model, and caliber it was.
