Harvey Mushman Posted April 8, 2013 Posted April 8, 2013 God Bless all who lost their lives in the mishap, in service of our country and its citizens. The Thresher disaster led to major safety improvements and expert certification in the design, and construction of our submarine fleet. It is called "Sub-Safe" and is analagous to the flight safety certification process used for our aircraft. Harvey
