John E. Law
This is a little old but I haven't seen it on Team SASS yet. http://www.wctv.tv/home/headlines/Florida-Sheriffs-Promise-to-Protect-Second-Amendment-Rights-189439071.html Here's the proclamation from The Florida Sheriff's Association https://www.flsheriffs.org/uploads/FLSheriffs2ndAmendmentProcl_2013v3.pdf I'm told my sheriff willingly signed it. Waimea
Too bad all of them didn't sign it. Would like to see a list of who did and who didn't sign. I'd be willing to wager on one in particular. Waimea Link to comment

They all DID sign it. Even the democratic counties. Florida is the first state to unanimously have all sheriff's sign such a "proclamation"! JEL Link to comment

JEL John E I saw the title of your thread and was overjoyed. But then I read the article which states "During Sheriff Association's Winter Conference in Destin, about two-thirds of the 55 sheriffs at the conference voted in favor of the proclamation..." That leaves a third that didn't. Maybe the other third abstained? Nobody would be happier than me that it was unanimous. Waimea Link to comment
