Deja Vous
Soiux Ghost Dance from early film; note "Buffalo Bill" sign in lower right - part of the BBWW??? LL hello... it could be a part ot the BBWW show.. or someone might have filmed it with the movie projecter back in the day. I guess it is no different then watching a clip on a miliary disaster. WE have all learned from our pasts and we no longer judge, but are curious.. and that to me is a good thing. Some people don't want to be remind of their past, others want to share it and to some it is sacred. In the end all we can do is Pray that we all care for the right reasons.. and I know you do.. so the film is cool with me.. Deja
Loophole LaRue, SASS #51438
Nobody should watch that... bad luck. Sorry, Wide-Loop LaRue... just had to tell it like it is. ts No offense taken, TS...and hope none were offended by it. I had heard of Ghost Dancing in connection with Wounded Knee - but had never seen it performed, and definately had no concept of it as a sacred religious rite not to be shared with those outside the group. In fact, my understanding was that Ghost Dancing was performed openly, and carried a theme of peace and reunion with the souls of the departed. If I have been mistaken, my apologies. Utah Bob #35998
If it was the Sioux Ghost Dance it would be a problem. Fortunately the Souix Ghost Dance and the Soiux Dances are a whole 'nother thing. You're off the hook. We will now discuss the calvary.
