One thing led to another, and I found, in no particular order.... - Michael Moore admitting that he kept the gun he got as a gift when he opened a bank account as part of one of his movies; - Michael Moore suggesting that he might auction the gun for charity, since he already has "enough personal security"; - Chris Matthews arguing that the Iraq war was "all about oil"; - A New York legislator arguing for an assault weapons ban, but unable to define what a "barrel shroud" is or why her bill calls for it to be banned; - Another legislator who claims that 50 cal. rounds include a "heat seeking device", which can't be used for hunting unless you want to "shoot the deer and cook it at the same time"; - Chris Matthews advocating that GWB should be blamed for 9/11 "since it happened on his watch"; It's fun to look back at this silliness; at the time of the original broadcasts, I thought my brain was on fire.
