Does anyone know how the F-250 frames are broken down by year? Specifically, can a 1977 F-250 be built onto a 1988 frame, without modifications?

There will be little if anything the same. Major design changes in 1980.

+1 pretty diff. If your good with a welder you can make it work pretty easy but going off stock holes isn't going to work

But with a torch, welder, grinder and just a little imagination.................wonderful things can happen!

Yeah I was going to just swap a v 8 into a v6 camaro. Made the mistake of getting a torch and welder out. Ended up making a toy from hell. Single seat chopped and sectioned tubed rear end with 22 slicks oh so much fun but couldn't find a way to mount a gattlin' gun lol
