Hey, FR, you live in California. What else is news. Ok, my California friend can flame me all they want. I think I still have one down there. I was looking at a web site for Roche Harbor up in the San Juan Islands this morning. They have a very nice hotel with a very big harbor for the upper end yachts that come up in the summer. They also have a very nice restaurant.I was kinda thinking on taking a ferry boat ride up to see my friend and long ago roomie, Bill. He lives on a boat in Friday Harbor. Neat guy. Anyway, I was looking at the restaurant's menu. They have COB SMOKED BACON on the menu. What the??? Cob smoked? Never heard of it. Must be a poor man's hickory or something. Anybody ever smoke bacon with cobs? Corn cobs? Quote
