Col. Roosevelt
Just a bit of history, on this day in 1882, Jesse James was killed by that dirty little coward that shot Mr. Howard. At least that's what the official history is. I know some of his kinfolk, and they don't all agree with that date of death. What does the wire think?
Col. Roosevelt
Funny thing though, some places list an April date for Jesse's death.
Captain Woodrow Cahill, SASS # 54363
Henry, we all know Jesse didn't die that day. The whole thing was faked. Bob Ford shot Charlie Bigelow, who somewhat resembled Jesse. Jesse changed his name to J. Frank Dalton and died in Denton Texas in 1951. Seen it on TV and the internet, so it must be true. Everything that I think of like this, someone tells me that SNOPES says it ain't so. Well, I don't believe in snopes either. shenny
