VICIOUS, SASS#8014 Posted March 2, 2011 Posted March 2, 2011 Howdy ; I was told you could take 444 rifle brass and fireform it to load 410 shotgun shells . Thinking of it for a 410 revolver judge. So where can I get loading instructions or loads and any other information to do this? Thanks Vicious
Bad Hand Posted March 2, 2011 Posted March 2, 2011 I've used .303 British to make .410 shells, don't know about .444.
Ethan Cord Posted March 2, 2011 Posted March 2, 2011 Vicious, Great question! Here is some info I located: Marlin .444 to .410 shot shells I am gonna have to try this my ownself! I have a .444 and brass and a .410 shotgun. I see another project to tinker with in my future.
Ketchum Quick, SASS #72923 Posted March 2, 2011 Posted March 2, 2011 Why not just buy some factory shotshells? http://www.buffaloarms.com/browse.cfm/4,4673.html I know that some Michigan deer hunters use these in lever rifles with rifled barrels to hunt deer in "shotgun" only zones. And I know a guy who does the conversions too. KQ
