Dusty Morningwood
Seems I read - or heard - somewhere that you are not supposed to store guns in a safe in gunsocks or other cases. Is this true and if so why? If not, maybe I need a catscan.

I have most of my long guns in socks (minimizes the bumps and bangs) and the handguns are either in zip-up cases or their Ruger boxes. MTC
JD Trampas, SASS # 55781
I have all rifles and shotguns in gun socks, as for handguns I have racks for them and some on the door, the gun socks I have are designed in case of fire to protect the long guns or shotguns, now I don't want to find out if this works or not, just going by what it says on the package of them that I bought All for now JD Trampas
John Boy
Regardless of socks or not, recommended storage conditions are 50% Relative Humidity and 70F
