2bnag, SASS #54800 Posted November 30, 2010 Posted November 30, 2010 Howdy All: At a recent shoot, a cowpoke was observed carrying something that looked like a small sheath knife, but in reality was a tool for removing a stuck cartridge, or whatever. It had a flat tip like a screwdriver and a false edge. Anybody know where these can be had? Wewoka Bill
Garrison Joe, SASS #60708 Posted November 30, 2010 Posted November 30, 2010 Redwing screwknife. Available lots of places - here's the maker's web site. A better cowboy pard would be hard to find! Redwing's site Good luck, GJ
Long Branch Louie Posted November 30, 2010 Posted November 30, 2010 Look at screwknives and see if that's what you saw. Taylors and several others sell them...
Barterin Bill Posted November 30, 2010 Posted November 30, 2010 If you want a folder, search "electricians knife". Klien makes one for less than $25, or you might find an old Gov issue one on EBay. One screw blade and one knife blade.
Goody, SASS #26190 Posted November 30, 2010 Posted November 30, 2010 Made my own out of a screwdriver bit and a piece of antler, cost me about 2 bucks. Drill a hole, slather some 5 minute epoxy, insert bit into antler. Had a local leather guy make me a sheath, charged me $10. YMMV
