McDonalds Kiosk

There’s a Mickey Ds near where I shoot the 3rd Saturday. I usually stop there for a drink and maybe some fries for the hour ride home. I’ve used the kiosk inside if I have to p but if not I usually use the drive thru. It’s pretty quick. -
Your card gets stolen once a year. That’s pretty strange! 😳

Interested in starting, but have questions.

He’s already got his stuff! He said all he needs is a second revolver! -
All good points Pat which is why I won’t buy one. I’ve shot that caliber out of someone’s gun a few years back and it was comfortable to shoot, very little recoil.

Interesting design, there’s a review of it in American Rifleman this month https://www.keltecweapons.com/firearm/pistols/pr57/

This is from 2023 but they had the story on this mornings news to announce the. Highway sign to honor this young man. His killer was sentenced to only 8 years and never revealed why ho shot Lance Cpl. Shenk. McDonalds Kiosk

It’s actually pretty quick and not too bad. I rarely go to MickeyDs but when I do I find the kiosks pretty easy to use. -
I didn’t see this coming! Heritage Arms is making an M1 Garand
Rye Miles #13621 replied to Cholla's topic in SASS Wire Saloon
I wondered about that since there’s no M1 on their website. BTW I have a pair of.22 Heritages that I paid $69.00 each with rebates. I’ve been shooting them once a month at our rimfire challenge. They work just fine, accurate suckers! -

I use em, I take it as a challenge! Small victories!😂😂😂 -
That’s Elon Musk’s company right? I think he provided free internet to storm damage victims in No Carolina and fire damage victims in So Cal. For FREE!!

I use my debit card for check deposits at the ATM. I get checks from customers as I’m still working part time. That’s the ONLY thing I use it for!

Exactly!!

Sure 30% interest!! That’s for my friends!!!

There’s not too many places around here that offer a cash discount. My local gun shop/range does. I’m perfectly happy and in great financial shape as well and I enjoy my cash back on my credit cards. I get about 20 cents off a gallon of gas at BJ’s with my CC. I don’t overspend and always pay my balance off in full. I pay all my bills online through my bank including my credit cards.
-
That’s all well and good for you but the fact remains that you’re paying the same prices whether you have a credit card or not UNLESS they have a cash discount! That was my point, how you shop or pay your bills is beside the point I’m making!
-
Unless they have a cash discount If you’re paying cash you’re still paying the retailer the same as if you used a credit card. Might as well get the 2-5% cash back 😎 !

Another Alpoesque question.
Rye Miles #13621 replied to Sgt. C.J. Sabre, SASS #46770's topic in SASS Wire Saloon
Yea I do but I sleep on the couch! I haven’t slept in bed for a few years. I always woke up with a sore back. My couch is kinda hard and I sleep on my side. Back is fine! BTW I’m single 😂 -
I never had more spilt cases when I was shooting .44-40 whether it was black or smokeless. I switched to .38's and there's far less split cases. I t seems like only the ones that have been loaded many times. I get a few here and there but nothing like .44-40. .45 Colt seems to hold up pretty well too but I don't shoot them anymore. I'm old and I'm all .38 spl now!

Neanderthal and modern human
Rye Miles #13621 replied to Rye Miles #13621's topic in SASS Wire Saloon
Thers an interesting series of books by Jean Auel referring to the Neanderthal and Cro Magnon or modern humans interacting. Clan of the Cave Bear was the first in a series of 4 books. There also was a movie with Darryl Hannah playing the lead character Ayla who was a modern human child found by a group of Neanderthals after her tribe was wiped out by an earthquake. I read all the books very good reading.
