Who remembers

a story written on this site about 15 years ago entitled Stand With The Law?

 

If you do remember it can you also remember who started the story?  I think he went by Smith and was a Texan, but I wouldn't bet a bent penny on either one.

 

I found the story in my files but no names are anywhere.
