I was surprised when I heard on a Townsend video that gas cooking stoves came into being in 1802, and the first commercially viable in 1826.  Got me to digging into it.

sorta makes you wonder when the government outlaws them dont it ? why not lake the commercial development work out the use and eliminate the abuse , i think government is way too intrusive in our lives these days
