COLT 1851 Navy FS

Pistol has silver plated square back trigger guard and grip straps, lightly tarnished. Pistol and accessories near perfect. Small dent in flask that didn't photograph. 

Flask made by James Dixon and Sons of Sheffeld, marked as made in England. 

Brass two cavity mould marked Colt's Patent.

It says second Gen so it has to be 36 caliber.

Right.  All real Colt 1836's from 2nd Generation production are .36 caliber.

 

2nd Generation guns were produced by Colt, marked with Colt stamps to be authentic to their 18th century forebears and can be lettered.

 

The bullet mould and flask are also accurate to those provided by Colt with their original production of these pistols,
