Rube Burrows
Are you sure that is a Taylor's Comanchero? Looks like a standard carbine to me. The Comanchero is a short rifle with an 18" barrel.
River City
Yes that's what the box it came in says. I dyed the wrap and cover.

Does the serial number on the box match the gun? I have never seen a Comanchero carbine.

River City
There’s the box, there’s the label and the serial number matches. That’s as sure as you get. It came with the wrap and the cover , I dyed them both because I don’t like the natural color. It’s smooth and functions well.

Yeah, I had never seen one that was not a short rifle but thanks to this thread I have been made aware that they do in fact come in the other configurations. Tall John
Comancheros are short stroked and tuned at the factory. While not as slick as a custom job done by SB or LH, they are really, really nice. I have a 38/357 18” and really like mine. New, they sell for $1800+ this is a really great buy for anyone looking for a .45!
