After being shot and knocked unconscious he was wakened hearing his family scream in terror and put four rounds in the perpetrator.

In 2021 there were >1,000,000 people that used firearms to protect themselves.

In 2021 there were only 10 stories on defensive firearm use by the five largest newspapers.

In 2021 the same five newspapers had 1,743 stories containing "Murder," "Gunfire," or "Shot."
