Well said, from one of our greatest Presidents.   

 

Unfortunately, we have a lot of internal enemies now, as well as external enemies. 

One of the internal enemies is: apathy.

Another is: willful ignorance.

And another is: we are being betrayed by some of the one's that were elected to office, and the judges that make laws instead of upholding existing law.

 

The internal enemies' list, goes on and on. 

 

In part of a speech, by John Curran, that he made in Dublin, in 1790, is: "The condition upon which God hath given liberty to man is eternal vigilance", applies not only to external enemies, but more importantly, to internal enemies.
