Singin' Sue 71615 Posted May 24, 2021 Share Posted May 24, 2021 The Late/Former NM Gov Bruce King was a dear friend. We met him and wife Alice when we joined Stanley Union Church, 22 years ago. I was trying to recall what songs I led for the funeral...so I was watching the footage to see if they played. Well, then I saw our sweet youngest daughter Brodie (Brodie Lane #71616) With the Gospel Choir. You see, a small group of the HS choir was asked to sing...but Brodie was not included. The ladies of the Gospel group thought that was odd that a student of the HS choir would not be welcome to sing...so they asked her to join them. God's humor...Brodie was shown on the news singing here...but the 'select' HS group, not so much. Oh...and the gentleman far right of the photo? That is Shanley Shooter #71614. Many thought he was a secret agent!!! (One of Bill Clinton's) Shanley was standing behind me and the pianist during the service.
