I KNOW THERE IS NO WEDGE IN THE PICTURE.  The part will be here Friday priority mail from our friends at TAYLOR.

I bought a Kirst cylinder for it and did not like the process of loading and unloading.  I misplaced the wedge as a result.

Pricing?  $215 plus $14 priority mail shipment

i bought the pistol from Cabelas.  Here is their description.

One of the most popular cap-and-ball, single-action revolvers ever made, the 1860 Army .44 was a mainstay in the Civil War as well as the weapon of choice for Texas gunfighter John Wesley Hardin and other gunmen. Pietta's replica 1860 Army .44-Caliber Black Powder Revolver boasts a brass trigger guard, color case-hardened steel frame, round barrel and walnut grips. There's also a naval battle scene laser-engraved on the cylinder.

I noticed a notch in the hammer (see last picture).  I’m thinking Cabelas had this model specifically made for our game.  I’m thinking the notch grabs a spent percussion cap after it is fired.  I could be wrong.  Note the model number is Model 1860 Army CAS44

Nope no conversion cylinder.  Just a stone stock Pietta cap gun.

that notch is on all of them.   Its to fit the small pin on the cylinder if you loaded all six chambers.  With our game we only load five so its not needed or wanted.  I fill mine in with liquid steel because it does in fact grab the cap but drops it into the works by the hammer and could jam.
