Red Cent
IRS takes, then wastes Since 2014, the Internal Revenue Service has spent $12 million on an email archiving system it hasn’t used. Why? According to a review by the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration, the system was purchased “without first determining project infrastructure needs, integration requirements, business requirements, security and portal bandwidth, and whether the subscriptions were technologically feasible on the IRS enterprise.” Translation: Facepalm! Cold Lake Kid, SASS # 51474
PFFTT! A drop in the bucket. Our government is much better at pis wast finding creative ways to dispose of leaves from the money tree: A billion (Cdn) for a civil service pay system that doesn't work; a billion plus for a firearms registry that. SURPRISE the thugs didn't use. And on it goes. But, our Prime Minister has nice hair and wears great socks!
