August West, SASS #45079 Posted November 28, 2018 Share Posted November 28, 2018 This pistol is mechanically new, yet it has been refinished to be nickel plated. It has been completely tuned by Bob James and is as smooth an action as there is. Springs have been lighted by Bob for durability and fast operation. This is a late model, 3rd Generation SAA with removable cylinder bushing. The barrel is 5 1/2 inches long. The caliber is 38 W.C.F., or as Sam Colt called it, 38-40. It has been shot one time, which is why it is characterized as 'mechanically new'. It has absolutely no collectors value, though it comes with original box and outer sleeve. It is being offered as a 'shooter', but a very nice shooter to be sure. Price $1300, shipped to your FFL via overnight, insured FedEx delivery.
