Chili Ron
Howdy, Ive had a shootin iron with moon clips for many years. I wanted one with moon clips in 9mm. I would ask and so called gun salesmen always tried to sell me a .38. 9mm were out of stock bla bla bla... So the folks at ruger came along with the LCR and finally the LCR 9mm. With three moon clips I just got one. Such a nice grippy handle. And you can have any color as long as its black. Black stainless. And smooth. Real smooth. With the moon clips FIVE rounds get loaded with one move. Five emptys leave with one move. Or load the clips with different kinds of ammo and switch as needed. Did I mention the trigger? Smooth. J frame smith went off the scale of eight pounds. Literally off the scale. The ruger is right around five. Very easy and did I mention-smooth. Video reviews claim the 357 is easy to manage in the lcr so I hope to try this soon. Real soon. Best CR ps-might have some shootin irons fer sail soon..... Pulp, SASS#28319
I can't imagine the .357 being pleasant to shoot. My wife's .38Spcl hurts to shoot with 125 grain +P loads. But maybe I'm just a wimp.
Chili Ron
Howdy, Well I cant say cause I somehow lost the clips. Turned the place inside out and no clips. So I missed the range time and get to call tomorrow for more. Those little things cost five bucks apiece OUTCH. Best CR ps-called ruger customer service and new clips are on the way, no charge. Bless their little hearts.
