Subdeacon Joe
I can't help you with the captions, but it is part of 'Ма́сленица" (Maslenitsa, also called Pancake Week, Butter Week, or Cheesefare Week), the week before the start of the Great and Holy Lent. The last week for eating butter, eggs, and milk. Also the last time for entertainment before Pascha (Easter). There is one series video of this particular event where it looks like one of the combatants started taking it too seriously and he and his opponent got stood up by the guys acting as refs and he got a good talking to about keeping it in perspective. I'd never seen this tradition before. Orthodox Lent starts on a Monday (sundown Sunday, actually) after "Forgiveness Sunday." You don't go into Lent, asking God's forgiveness for your sins if you don't forgive those whom you think have wronged you. So at the end of the Vespers of Forgiveness, the congregation asks for forgiveness from each other. When you see an 85 year old person kneel, and with feeling and tears, as a 5 year old to forgive him for things done or not done, it's kind of humbling. Anyway, this celebration/party/festival in the video looks like a really good way to get rid of any hard feelings before going into Lent.
