The Super Blackhawk hammers are $60 for the pair if you can find them at all. Â For new shooters who are trying to get started but want to control their initial investment and still have nice guns: These pistols can be used in all of the two handed (squaw grip) aged based categories (Buckaroo, Junior, Cowboy, Wrangler, Forty Niner, Senior, Silver Senior, Elder Statesman), B Western and Senior Duelist. Â They're Rugers, made of stainless, practically indestructible, with nice grips, Super Blackhawk hammers, and lightened springs which makes pistols that were ready-to-shoot-out-of-the-box... even nicer.
