Mad Dog McGee
Like to know which mold everyone is using for .38 Special using BP. I shoot a '73 ,& RM '51 conversions. I really like the Accurate Mold # 36-155C-D, but also Big Lube makes a nice mold. Whichever one I go with I'd like to have a nice large groove for my lube. Any problems with these chambering in a '73? Thanks in advance, MDM
Prairie Dawg, SASS #50329
Snakebite greasewagon. Makes 38 special the length of a 357. Feeds real well in a '73. In your conversions, if it is too long when crimped in the crimp groove, use a bit less powder & crimp over the ogive. Shortens the OAL of the bullet & still gives you lotsa lube. BIG lube groove. Great mould & bullit. http://www.biglube.com/BulletMolds.aspx?ItemID=ee788c75-7068-4a70-a6f0-6d4ee38b0030 --Dawg

Dirty Chris
I have the Accurate 36-155C mold. It's a great quality mold and the bullet is perfect for BP. Carries plenty of lube.
