Slater
I'm getting my son ready for cowboy shooing. I've got a good rifle for him. I'm in need of a set of Ruger Bearcats.
Captain Bill Burt
Hi Slater, I bought my Buckeroo a couple of Bearcats a little over a year ago. I patiently worked through bunches of Gunbroker.com listings and eventually purchased both for less than $300 each. Here are a few decent listings: http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=339148301 http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=337906855 http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=339261356 http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=338892032
Dirty Dan Dawkins
I got my bearcats for $300 and $325 3 years ago. That's probably a good price point new or used. I will keep my out out.

Doctor Watt
Also consider the Uberti Stallion, sold in the US as the Taylor's Stallion and the Cimarron Model P Jr. It's about 7/8 the size of an SAA clone so it fits loosely in an SAA holster, but with the 4 3/4" barrel it's a remarkably well-balanced gun and very suitable for smaller than normal hands. The Stallion/Model P Jr. also comes in .38 special (both Taylors and Cimarron) and .32 H&R (Cimarron only).
Captain Bill Burt
Plus one on the Stallions. I bought my seven year old a pair and he can shoot them without difficulty. I'm not letting him shoot them in matches yet, but it won't be long. Another plus for the Stallions is that it's much easier to slick them up than it is to slick up Bearcats. I put a set of reduced power springs in the Iron Cowboy's Bearcats, but that's about all I could do. His stallions are a lot easier to cock and the trigger pull is smoother and lighter. Slater
I didn't relies there were many other tiny cowboy guns out there for youth. The only problem with the stallions is finding one for him to hold before I buy. Time for more research. Thanks pards.
Captain Bill Burt
If he's coming with you to GA State I can bring my Buckeroo's Stallions and he can hold AND shoot them, Bearcats too if he wants. Let me know, I'm not heading to the match until Friday morning.
Slater
He won't be there but your willing to bring them for me to see I would sure appreciate it.
Captain Bill Burt
Sure! You're probably shooting with Widder right? I'll be on a posse with Easy Rider/Fast Eddie. I always wear a black slouch hat with Captain's bars like my pic. We'll look out for each other.
